ACCEPT YOUR NATURE

Don’t fight it, but understand it first. If you watch yourself carefully, you can learn very different things. They will not always be in line with your self-image. They can be even surprising. However, the moment you understand this … will be a turning point on your further journey. This applies to all areas of life. Because everything has to do with everything.

In one of his books – Peter Drucker asked 2 questions that have remained with me until today. I remembered them. They changed a lot in my approach not only to work – but also unexpectedly to life. Here they are:

1. How do you learn most effectively?

2. How do you work most effectively?

Now you just need to understand it well.

For example, I learn most effectively by myself. I don’t like organized classes, where I usually get bored and even fall asleep. Most of what I have been able to learn – and which is of value to me today – are things that I have learned on my own … by searching only for knowledge in various sources.

If you find out what your nature is – then live in harmony with it.

Only then will you really make good use of life and its gifts. You will do what is best for yourself and for others. Receive it and interact with your nature. Your true strength is also in it, although it may not seem so obvious right away.

In the beginning, it’s like looking in a mirror. You probably thought much better of yourself than you really are…It’s normal. People have a natural tendency to see themselves „better”.

The truth is, we are neither the most important nor the only one. But something else is also true … and much more important – we are unique. This is where our greatest strength lies.

There were not exactly the same people before us, nor will ever be after us. We can now clone cells, but we cannot clone the human psyche. It is also impossible to recreate the human way of life. It is a unique and unrepeatable set of variables that shape it.

It cannot be recreated, if only for one simple reason – we have no control over time. We are unable to recreate what shaped a given person. We can only create an environment that is very similar – but never the same.

I was often told that I am like water … Calm, composed… A bit of a philosopher, a bit of a diplomat … an oasis of peace in any situation. There were times people even tried to ridicule it.

I’ve heard it so often that sometimes it even bothered me. Maybe sometimes I wanted to be different myself … than I am.

It was like that until I understood – what power is …. water.
