Above I have placed a drawing that illustrates my simple concept of life direction verification. It is like a life compass that helps me make everyday decisions, plan, become better …
It helps me to correct my mistakes and get back on course.
The drawing shows the symbols of a small yachts. The red ones took the wrong azimuth. They’ve gone off course. Some slightly – others very much. Only one of them (blue) is constantly moving in the right direction.
Verifying your heading is similar to measuring the angle of your trek or using a compass. For me, that tool is the Life Navigation Table. I called it like that. Over the years of my life – I am constantly improving it. It helps me a lot and I’d like to share it with you. Maybe it will help you? Or maybe you can create your own … better than my tool. I sincerely wish you this.
All my Philosophy of Simplicity is contained in this drawing. I believe that the most important things are really simple. I think the drawing is so legible that it does not require any special comments.
As we know, however, life is not always straightforward (or rather almost never). Therefore, the real picture of the situation looks more like below.
We have our life turns and critical moments. Moments of doubt and downtime. The important thing, however, is that we are constantly adjusting our course.
How long our life will last is not up to us.
Achieving the goal, which is symbolically represented by the North Star in the picture – is only a direction. It’s not that success is waiting for us somewhere…. far away – when we finally „get there”.
It is at the moment of choosing a direction in life that we achieve success. Not after that, but now – immediately. The rest is only a natural consequence of our everyday, small, … even the smallest life choices. It is their sum.
All you have to do is make those little daily decisions properly. And don’t worry about anything else – you’re on the right track. Be happy. Enjoy this sailing – called life.
I also tell you about it in this short video.
