Yesterday I heard a melody that they liked very much – my grandfather and grandmother. When I was a little boy, this song appeared on the radio sometimes. It was still in the early 70’s. Radios, still different then, and you had the feeling that it came and reached us from very far away.
The song is wonderful and years later I understood its meaning as well. It is not just about words, but much more. My original message is as follows:

Wczoraj słyszałem przypadkiem melodię, którą lubili bardzo – mój dziadek i babcia. Kiedy byłem jeszcze mały, ta piosenka pojawiała się czasem w radiu. To było jeszcze na początku lat 70-tych. Radia były jeszcze wtedy inne i miało się to poczucie, że dźwięki , jakie z niego dochodzą – docierają do nas z bardzo daleka.
Piosenka jest cudowna, a ja po latach zrozumiałem także jej sens. Nie chodzi tu tylko o słowa, ale o coś znacznie więcej. Moje tłumaczenie jej przekazu jest takie:
