THE WISDOM OF FLOWERS

Flowers don’t go anywhere. They stay in place. The wind has thrown the seed to this or that place – and there the flower grows.

A wildflower, in nature – grows that way. Sometimes flowers are also planted by people. However, in both cases, they have one thing in common – they stay where they are.
They have to accept where they live. What more can a flower do?

It can grow so that bees or other insects can fly to it – which can disperse its pollen.

It can only be ready. It can only „try to be the best version of the flower it can become.”

It can smell, and the insects will decide for themselves – whether they will want to fly to it.
Only this can be the „pro-activity of the flower”, if I may call it that. On being ready.

I’ve been thinking about this for a week or so now, and I can see the analogy of this „flower wisdom” with so many things in human life. It amazes me myself, and that’s probably why this discovery gently, but systematically returns to me.
I was different myself.

Sometimes people run too much, … they want too much. And often it is enough to just stop sometimes and want less.
Or maybe try to be someone you might want to come to. That’s all…

Real life examples?

– If you are thinking about a raise at work, are you sure you are giving so much of yourself to get it? After all, what you get should be proportional to what you give. Or maybe you still need to work on yourself?

– If you want to be in a relationship with someone, are you sure you are the person you want to be with yourself? Maybe you should change something about yourself?

– If you want something, is it really not that this desire disturbs your inner peace. If so, then from a good thing that motivates you – it becomes something that takes your energy.

– If you plan something, are you sure you’re ready for it? Are you like a yacht ready to sail when a good wind comes? Won’t you waste what life gives you? Maybe it’s worth using this time to prepare yourself? Because the good wind will come sooner or later – but it will come again. Because things in our lives happen cyclically. Like the seasons. After winter comes spring.

Of course, man is not a flower. He doesn’t have to live in one place and wait. Can be much more pro-active. Nature has endowed him so for a reason. Nevertheless, a bit of such a „floral” approach – can be very useful in life.

I keep discovering it. Since I stopped, I achieve more than when I ran. I think after that – I’ll just keep going, but much slower. Softer and smarter.
I recently heard beautiful words:

“Nature is in no hurry to get anywhere, but everything happens at the right time…”.

That’s how to live. Feel what and when to do – no rush. Because it’s important. Because it is the essence of our lives.
