VAT – or value added tax ……… right – ADDED.
Although this abbreviation discourages many, I like it. This simple definition, contrary to appearances, says a lot. Moreover, it is completely in line with my understanding of business, work and any gainful activity. I do not believe in smarts, nor in counting on opportunities or relationships in life. These are not ways to build your future in the long term.
If you just translated something from the left hand to the right – then you did not add any value to it.
If you have enriched something with new features and given it a new quality or functionality – this is the added value.
Therefore, it is worth asking yourself the question – whatever we are doing – „Do I contribute anything to what I do” ?
Someone once told me something about my „Silesian ass”. It was about the inability to take advantage of the opportunity and lack of cleverness.
If life brings good opportunities and opportunities – take advantage of them. Yes, it is. Sometimes we don’t have too many of them and it shouldn’t be taken lightly.
But cleverness is too much. It is to outsmart the other in order to benefit only yourself. I don’t want that. Instead, I want to create value that will benefit me and others. I believe that the most.
Real business – it’s a WIN – WIN transaction (meaning everyone gains). This is a situation in which each party has benefited and is satisfied with the transaction. In this situation, everyone wins and no one feels harmed or used.
I believe that only self-discipline, study and persistent work can build real success in any field in the long term. Talent is also needed here, but without the former – even that is not enough.
To anyone who wants to be successful in the field they do – I would say exactly what I say to our son – „Give other people value.”
This is what value is all about. It counts. It is the value of a service, good or knowledge. It’s something that wasn’t there and you made it. It is something that increases the quality of life of another person.
I see deep sense in doing so. It consists in enriching what already exists with new elements or creating new things. It can also be the provision of services or the transfer of knowledge. The important thing is that you have enriched what you found in some way. You weren’t a speculator or a trickster, but you really gave something.
If you chase money and base your success on it, not with the goal of creating value for another person – you will lose. Money is not a value itself. Money is only a means of payment. Do not forget about it.
If someone gives value to others and focuses on it – then money becomes only a natural consequence of the former. Money will follow such a man. He can be calm because he will never run out of money.

VAT – czyli podatek od wartości dodanej……… właśnie – DODANEJ.
Choć ten skrót niejednego zniechęca, to ja go jednak lubię.
Jeżeli życie przynosi dobre okazje i możliwości – należy z nich korzystać.
Prawdziwy biznes – to transakcja WIN – WIN (czyli każdy zyskuje).
